Basketball Recap: Sky View Comes Up Short

Sky View and Logan squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Sky View had to settle for second. They took a 63-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Logan Grizzlies. The Bobcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Grizzlies earlier this season, when they won 50-48.

Logan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Reed Olsen, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten rebounds. Olsen is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 15 games he's played. Ethan Woolley was another key player, going 7-for-12 on his way to 18 points.

Sky View's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Logan, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-16.

Sky View does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Logan, they will square off against Dixie at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Dixie is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.1 points per game this season.
