Baseball Game Preview: Catholic Bears vs. West Monroe Rebels

For the second straight game, Catholic will face off against West Monroe. The Bears will be playing at home against the Rebels at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.

Catholic is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Thursday. They skirted past West Monroe 3-1. The victory was nothing new for the Bears as they're now sitting on ten straight dating back to last season.

Catholic got a great performance from Mills Richardson as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over 5.2 innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Dekohta Jones was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Catholic came out on top in a nail-biter against West Monroe when the teams last played on Thursday, sneaking past 3-1. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rebels turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
