Volleyball Game Preview: Bayshore Christian Faith Warriors vs. Riverview Academy Barracudas

The Bayshore Christian Faith Warriors are taking a road trip to square off against the Riverview Academy Barracudas at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Bayshore Christian has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Friday, Bayshore Christian didn't have quite enough to beat Universal Academy and fell 3-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Faith Warriors in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost three in a row.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Bayshore Christian sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 19-25, 25-20, 20-25, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Riverview Academy came up short against Universal Academy on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-20.

Riverview Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Bayshore Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.

Bayshore Christian took their victory against Riverview Academy when the teams last played back in August by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Faith Warriors since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
