Basketball Recap: Stockdale Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Stockdale can now relate to. They took a 52-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rice Consolidated Raiders on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Brahmas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1329th, while the Raiders are ranked 629th).

Stockdale's loss dropped their record down to 10-20. As for Rice Consolidated, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Stockdale nor Rice Consolidated have any future games scheduled.
