Football Recap: Fremont-Mills Takes a Loss

Fremont-Mills came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were dealt a 54-12 loss at the hands of the Woodbine Tigers. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2020.

Having lost for the first time this season, Fremont-Mills fell to 2-1. As for Woodbine, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Fremont-Mills will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Audubon at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Woodbine, they will head out to take on Stanton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
