Volleyball Recap: Taravella Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Taravella lost against Flanagan back in October of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Trojans fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 3-2. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Taravella wouldn't go down easily and took Flanagan into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 24-26, 23-25, 15-10.

Despite the loss, Taravella still got an impressive performance from Daniela Guarin, who had 29 digs and one assist. With that strong performance, Guarin is now averaging an impressive 11.3 digs per game. Camille Camper also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Taravella's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Flanagan, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Taravella wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Northeast on the 18th. As for Flanagan, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Somerset Academy on the 18th.
