Kapaun Mt. Carmel scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 76-71 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Andover Central Jaguars. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (67), the Crusaders still had to take the loss.

Andover Central's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Taylin Tabor led the charge by going 8 for 12 from beyond the arc on her way to 28 points and seven assists. Those 28 points gave Tabor a new career-high. Payton Converse was another key player, going 8 of 11 on her way to 20 points and seven rebounds.

Kapaun Mt. Carmel's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2. As for Andover Central, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kapaun Mt. Carmel will host Heights on Tuesday. As for Andover Central, they will challenge Andover at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
