Dakota Ridge won the last time they faced Pomona and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles blew past the Panthers 8-2.

Matt Larmore was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. Larmore was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Breckin Maynes, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kellen Behrendsen, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI.

Dakota Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Pomona, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Dakota Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-4 victory against Green Mountain on the 21st. As for Pomona, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 14-12 loss against Standley Lake on the 17th.
