Recap: Ontario Warriors vs. River Valley Vikings
The Ontario Warriors pushed their score all the way to 63 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They suffered a tough 87-63 defeat at the hands of River Valley. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ontario in their matchups with River Valley: they've now lost five in a row.
Ayden Kenney had an outrageously good game for River Valley as he dropped a double-double on 31 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Smith, who scored 21 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 assists.
Ontario's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for River Valley, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ontario will take on Upper Sandusky at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for River Valley, they will be playing at home against Pleasant at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday.
