Basketball Recap: Pottsville Snags Ninth Win in Last Ten Games

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Pottsville ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Panther Valley Panthers 56-54. The squad ran away with 30 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the win.

Pottsville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Christian Alvarez, who made all 7 shots he took to post 17 points. Letrel Montone was another key player, as he made all 5 shots he took for 15 points.

Panther Valley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Jones, who went 5 of 11 en route to 14 points.
