Soccer Recap: Edgewood Comes Up Short

Edgewood lost against Monroe back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cougars came up short against the Hornets, falling 5-0.

Edgewood's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Monroe, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edgewood will host Franklin at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Monroe, they will face off against Talawanda at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Monroe will be up against Talawanda's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.25 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
