Teton is 2-8 against South Fremont since April of 1924 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Timberwolves will head out to take on the Cougars at 4:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Teton was handed a 12-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They skirted past American Falls 8-7.

James Borg was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up six earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Luke Nelson was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Teton is 2-1 when Nelson posts two or more runs, but 0-9 otherwise. Kaisen Kearsley also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Teton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when South Fremont duked it out with Snake River on Saturday. The Cougars had just enough and edged out the Panthers 2-1. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Cy Hill spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up eight Ks.
On the hitting side, South Fremont saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Hammond, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Teton's record now sits at 2-10. As for South Fremont, their record is now 8-11.
Teton beat South Fremont 4-1 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will the Timberwolves repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
