Jesup will be up against a hot Turkey Valley squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Turkey Valley breezed by West Central to the tune of 68-13 on Friday. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 160th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 332nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Jesup came tearing into Friday's contest with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took their match with ease, bagging a 57-19 victory over the Sailors.

Jesup's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.2 points over those games. As for Turkey Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 15-5.
