Basketball Recap: Bad Axe Takes a Loss

Bad Axe lost against Imlay City back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bad Axe Hatchets took a 54-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Imlay City Spartans. The Hatchets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Imlay City to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addison Cameron, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 15 boards. With that strong performance, Cameron is now averaging an impressive 8.5 rebounds per game. Another player making a difference was Alexa Lengemann, who posted eight points and 11 boards.

Bad Axe's loss dropped their record down to 10-9-1. As for Imlay City, the win got them back to even at 11-11.

Bad Axe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Imlay City, they will face off against Croswell-Lexington at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
