Volleyball Recap: Hubbard's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Hubbard saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Bulls College Prep Bulls.

Hubbard's offense was headlined by Mia Jauregui and Alondra Padilla, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Debora Lopez and her three assists.

Bulls College Prep can attribute much of their success to Elizabeth Martinez, who had ten digs and two aces. That's the most aces Martinez has posted over her last seven contests.

Hubbard's loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4. As for Bulls College Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8-1 record this season.

Hubbard has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Woodlawn on the 11th. As for Bulls College Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 1-1 tie against Perspectives Leadership/Technology on the 11th.
