Heights had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against the Dodge City Demons as they made off with a 20-3 victory. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 15-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Heights' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-10. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.7 runs over those games. As for Dodge City, their loss dropped their record down to 2-17.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Demons beat Heights by a score of 16-0 later that day.
