Basketball Recap: Roosevelt's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Roosevelt had to endure an eight-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 59-47 victory over the Stevens Raiders on Thursday. The Rough Riders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raiders, too.

Roosevelt's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Stevens, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Roosevelt beat Stevens by a score of 59-47 on Friday.
