Softball Recap: Beech Comes Up Short

Hendersonville hit Beech with a four-run fifth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Buccaneers lost 12-2 to the Commandos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Commandos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 on April 6th.

Beech saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Wallace, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Beech has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Hendersonville, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-8-1.

As of now, neither Beech nor the Commandos have any future games scheduled.
