Lowndes posted their closest victory since December 3, 2024 on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Richmond Hill Wildcats 54-51. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Lowndes was led to victory by Isaiah Camon and Kaiden Brown. Camon went 8-for-13 to rack up 20 points, while Brown posted nine points and seven boards. Brown is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 67% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Ferguson, who scored seven points.

Richmond Hill lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Joshua Scott, who went 8-for-15 on his way to 16 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Amari Jordan, who had ten points and four steals.

Lowndes' record is now 14-9. As for Richmond Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lowndes beat Richmond Hill by a score of 44-42 on Friday.
