Volleyball Recap: Hastings Takes a Loss

Hastings lost against Lincoln Northwest back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Falcons.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-15, 25-15.

Zoie Turman paced Hastings' offense, picking up six kills. Turman got some help from Lily Sorgenfrei and her ten assists. Lydia Choate controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Among those leading the charge was Lilly Keifer, who had nine digs and two aces.

Hastings' defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Lincoln Northwest, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hastings will take on Minden at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln Northwest, they will challenge Gretna East at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons are facing the Griffins at the right time seeing as the Griffins are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
