While North Providence's win against Johnston wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars had just enough and edged out the Panthers 6-4. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

North Providence let Mike Allard and Jayden Allard run wild. Mike went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two RBI, while Jayden went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI. That's the most hits Mike has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Mike Ryan, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

North Providence's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Johnston, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Providence will challenge Prout at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Johnston, they will take on Toll Gate at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
