Baseball Recap: Bethlehem Catholic Takes a Loss

Bethlehem Catholic lost against Nazareth Area back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hawks fell 8-4 to the Blue Eagles. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bethlehem Catholic saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joseph Casciano, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Caden Deegan was another, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Bethlehem Catholic now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Nazareth Area, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bethlehem Catholic will head out to face off against North Pocono at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Hawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season. As for Nazareth Area, they will head out on the road to challenge Northampton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
