Volleyball Recap: Richmond Takes a Loss

Richmond lost against New Palestine back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Red Devils fell 2-0 to the Dragons.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-9.

Richmond's offense was headlined by Jazell James and Addison Belanga, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Aubrey Scalf and her eight assists. Bryah Orr controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Richmond's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for New Palestine, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season.

Richmond didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Winchester Community on the 4th. As for New Palestine, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Greenwood Christian Academy on the 4th.
