Football Recap: Lowellville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lowellville might've scored the first points on Friday, but it was Toronto who claimed the real prize. The Rockets were outmatched by the Red Knights and fell 34-6. Having soared to a lofty 40 points in the game before, the Rockets couldn't push the score so high this time.

Lowellville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Aj Boehlke and Michael Lucido.

Toronto's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Drake Bouscher, who rushed for 127 yards and one score. Bouscher also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making six total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending one pass. Toronto also got help from Brady Fair, who showed off his sure hands for 90 receiving yards.

Lowellville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Toronto, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lowellville will head out to square off against LaBrae at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Toronto, they will venture away from home to take on Wellsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
