Baseball Recap: Whitfield Takes a Loss

Whitfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-0 to the Clayton Greyhounds. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

Whitfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Clayton, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whitfield will square off against MICDS at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Clayton, they will take on Ritenour at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: the Greyhounds have lost three straight at home , while the Huskies have lost six on the road.
