Soccer Recap: Algoma Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Algoma was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gibraltar Vikings. Algoma were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Gibraltar earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Algoma's loss dropped their record down to 7-4-2. As for Gibraltar, the win got them back to even at 6-6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Algoma will face off against Kewaunee at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Gibraltar, they will take on Appleton West at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
