Volleyball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jamaica Beavers. Edison was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Jamaica apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Jamaica, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Edison is set to square off against their familiar foe Francis Lewis at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Jamaica will face off against rival Bayside at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
