It was a good run, but the Independence Falcons unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 54-32 walloping at the hands of Mark Keppel. Independence was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Mark Keppel apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Independence's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of AMARIUS "AR" ROWEL, who scored 11 points, and JAMES TANNER who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds. ROWEL scored a full 34.4% of Independence's points, the tenth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Independence's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Mark Keppel, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.
