Basketball Recap: Philip Comes Up Short

Philip was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 45-42 heartbreaker at the hands of the Highmore/Harrold Pirates. The Scotties were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

Philip's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Highmore/Harrold, their win bumped their record up to 13-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Highmore/Harrold beat Philip by a score of 45-42 on Saturday.
