Volleyball Recap: Patterson Takes a Loss

Patterson managed to slip by Mountain House the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Patterson lost 3-0 to Mountain House on Wednesday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-10, 25-21.

Mountain House had a senior duo take command as Amogh Janganure had seven digs and two aces and Zyston Bright had 15 assists. Bright is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 14 or more in each of the last four games he's played. Dominick Paulo Diaz also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.

Patterson now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Mountain House, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Patterson will face off against rival Manteca at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Mountain House is set to square off against their familiar foe Central Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
