Softball Recap: Columbia Gets the Win

Columbia won the last time they faced Pine Plains and things went their way on Monday too. The Blue Devils had just enough and edged out the Bombers 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Devils.

Columbia's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Pine Plains, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season.

Columbia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pine Plains, they will welcome Roosevelt at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Presidents have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.8 runs per game on average), something the Bombers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
