Volleyball Game Preview: McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers vs. Savannah Country Day Hornets + How To Watch

The McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers are taking a road trip to square off against the Savannah Country Day Hornets at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between McIntosh County Academy and Wayne County, and Wayne County kept the tradition alive. The Buccaneers fell 2-0 to the Yellow Jackets on Tuesday. The Buccaneers haven't had much luck with the Yellow Jackets recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, Savannah Country Day lost 3-0 to Richmond Hill on Monday.

McIntosh County Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Savannah Country Day, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.

McIntosh County Academy couldn't quite get it done against Savannah Country Day in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Buccaneers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
