The Pikes Peak Christian Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against the Liberty Tree Academy War Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Liberty Tree Academy will be up against a hot Pikes Peak Christian team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. Pikes Peak Christian claimed a resounding 64-28 win over Monument Academy. The Eagles pushed the score to 57-16 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lynx cut but never quite recovered from.

Eddie Harmon and Max Singler were among the main playmakers for Pikes Peak Christian as the former made all 6 shots he took racking up 12 points and the latter on his way to 11 points and three steals. Singler is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Baker, who posted ten points and four steals.
Pikes Peak Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 24 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Pikes Peak Christian better keep an eye on Wesley Rains. He was instrumental in Liberty Tree Academy's win, dropping a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Kaleb Mendez was another key player, putting up 14 points along with eight boards and seven steals.
Pikes Peak Christian's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points over those games. As for Liberty Tree Academy, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Pikes Peak Christian has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 38.4 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Liberty Tree Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
