Football Recap: Greater Latrobe Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Greater Latrobe came into this matchup off a tough 36-point loss last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Gateway Gators by a score of 27-24 on Friday. The Wildcats' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Gateway's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayden Stammer, who picked up 110 receiving yards and a pair of scores, and also rushed for 36 yards. Stammer's longest reception was for an incredible 78 yards. Another signal caller making a difference was Mayson Mitchell, who threw for 261 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.4% of his passes.

Greater Latrobe's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Gateway, they moved to 3-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
