Volleyball Recap: Chester Beats Tri-Valley for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Chester entered their tilt with Tri-Valley on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Mustangs 3-0. The Flyers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Chester took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-12, 25-12.

Chester was led to victory by Kaitlyn Swenson and Kaytee Wold. Swenson had 14 digs, while Wold had ten assists and three aces. What's more, Wold posted two digs, the most she's had over her last seven matchups.

Chester's victory bumped their record up to 23-1. As for Tri-Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-8.

Coming up, Chester will face off against West Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tri-Valley, they will take on Baltic at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
