Volleyball Recap: West Gets the Win

The West Cowboys beat the Walnut Ridge Scots 3-1 on Tuesday.

West was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-15, 19-25, 25-17.

Their offense was headlined by Maxwell Scott and Anthony Martinez -Diego, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Edwin Perez and his 17 assists. Brangly Sanchez controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

West's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Walnut Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

West has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Independence on the 3rd. Walnut Ridge has also already played their next contest (against South), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
