Softball Recap: East Lawrence Comes Up Short

East Lawrence lost against New Hope back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles fell just short of the Indians by a score of 4-3. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Lawrence's defeat dropped their record down to 7-17. As for New Hope, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-19-1 record this season.

East Lawrence will take on Good Hope at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Hope, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 10-1 loss against Deshler on the 5th.
