Travis Ellis gave up the fewest walks he has since back in February on Tuesday. He turned in nothing short of a gem, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over six innings pitched. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Spring is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 11-13 otherwise.

Ellis' effort led Spring over Nimitz and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
