Recap: Meadowcreek Mustangs vs. Discovery Titans
The Meadowcreek Mustangs were the 54-49 winner over the Discovery Titans when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The match between the two teams wasn't particularly close, with Meadowcreek falling 46-28.
Discovery's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maiya George, who scored six points along with three steals. Lauryn Clark was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with two steals.
Meadowcreek's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Discovery, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Meadowcreek will take on Peachtree Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Peachtree Ridge is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. As for Discovery, they will be playing at home against Duluth at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Duluth is ranked 309th, while Discovery is ranked 319th).
