Soccer Recap: Branham Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Branham's offense. They fell 2-0 to the Lincoln Lions on Wednesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Bruins haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

Branham now has a losing record at 4-5-1. As for Lincoln, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2-1 and their overall record up to 3-4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Branham has already played their next match (against Mt. Pleasant), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lincoln will challenge Pioneer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Pioneer's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Lincoln has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
