Volleyball Recap: Green Takes a Loss

Green had lost five straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped down to 0-2 to make it six. They came up short against the Western Indians, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bobcats of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Addy Brown paced Green's offense, picking up five kills. Brown got some help from Peyton Neal and her 15 assists.

As for Western, they now have a winning record of 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for they.

Among those leading the charge was Aubrey Penwell, who had six digs and four aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (two).

Green has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Greenup County on the 26th. As for Western, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Valley on the 26th.
