Volleyball Recap: Fremont Comes Up Short

Fremont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Davis Darts. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Silverwolves of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18, 21-25, 25-15.

Carter Green paced Fremont's offense, picking up eight kills. Green got some help from Nathan Broadbent and his 11 assists. Broadbent was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Davis, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Fremont will challenge rival Weber at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Davis is set to face off against their familiar foe Layton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
