Wilson Christian Academy waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Scotland Christian Academy Saints as they made off with a 16-4 victory. The Chargers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Stevie Cressionnie made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

In other batting news, Katie McBryde and Cassidy Reynell did most of the damage at the plate: McBryde went 3-for-4 with five RBI, one stolen base, and one run, while Reynell scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases Reynell has posted since back in May of 2024. Cheyenne Brantley also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Wilson Christian Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .519. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .361 or higher in six consecutive contests.
