Chapin is a perfect 9-0 against Franklin since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Huskies will square off against the Cougars at 11:00 a.m.

Chapin unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Pebble Hills on Monday, falling 19-12. The loss continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Franklin duked it out with El Paso on Monday. The Cougars put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 9-0 win. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Chapin skirted past Franklin 6-4 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Will the Huskies repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
