Volleyball Recap: Klawock Comes Up Short

Klawock had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Petersburg Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chieftains of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Petersburg has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Klawock does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Petersburg, they will square off against Skagway at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
