Baseball Recap: Mountain Ridge Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Southern, Mountain Ridge was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the Berkeley Springs Indians 20-9.

Mountain Ridge's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Berkeley Springs, their defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Coming up, Mountain Ridge will square off against Northern Garrett at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Berkeley Springs, they will challenge Hedgesville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Berkeley Springs' pitchers better be ready for this one: Hedgesville has averaged an impressive 12.4 runs per game this season.
