Baseball Recap: Montgomery Bell Academy Takes a Loss

Montgomery Bell Academy was the 10-0 winner over Ensworth when they last played one another on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Big Red fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 14-13 on Thursday. Big Red fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Tigers since on Thursday.

Montgomery Bell Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Ensworth, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 8-15 record.

Looking ahead, Montgomery Bell Academy will face off against Brentwood Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Big Red are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Ensworth, they will venture away from home to challenge Father Ryan at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
