Softball Game Preview: Eisenhower Cadets vs. Sunnyside Grizzlies

For the second straight game, Eisenhower will face off against Sunnyside. The Cadets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Grizzlies at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Eisenhower has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with seven straight losses, while Sunnyside will come in with three straight victories.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Eisenhower and Sunnyside, and Sunnyside kept the tradition alive. The Cadets came up short against the Grizzlies on Tuesday, falling 15-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cadets have suffered against the Grizzlies since April 25, 2023.

Eisenhower saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Pepper Gilman, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.

Eisenhower's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Sunnyside, the win got them back to even at 10-10.
