Basketball Recap: Fairview Comes Up Short

After flying high against East Carter last Saturday, Fairview came back down to earth. The Eagles took a blow against the Elliott County Lions on Monday, falling 77-18. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost four in a row.

Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Fairview won't have much time to rest: their next game is against West Carter at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elliott County, they will face off against Menifee County at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
