Grapevine faced Marcus in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Mustangs had just enough and edged out the Marauders 6-5. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Grapevine's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Marcus, they moved to 11-5 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grapevine will host Argyle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marcus, they will be playing at home against Hebron at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
